Elizabeth Anderson holds a BFA from The Oregon Art Institiute, the Portland Art Museum School. She studied Fine Art and Graphic Design as her major, graduating in 1990.

     Having moved to the scenic Columbia River Gorge, she gets her artistic inspiration out her back door, where she has lived since graduating from college.

     As a Professional Artist, she enjoys teaching adult and childrens classes in Watercolor, Pottery, and Calligraphy for the Community Education program in Hood River, Oregon. She is an Artist in Residence for Hood River and Wasco County Columbia Gorge Arts in Education Program. Watercolor Studio classes are available in Mosier and taught each week by Elizabeth titled Watercolor Inspirations.

     She is currently participating in several shows and festivals around the Oregon, Washington, and Alaska area. Impressionistic florals and landscapes are her current focus of subject matter. Colorful transparent watercolors are her medium as well as oil pastel crayons.
